Note: There is a quiz on "boot" verbs next class. See 22 September for the list. For the quiz, I will pick several of the verbs at random for you to conjugate.

Today we reviewed the book work from last time, talked about the school system in Spain, and started a movie.

If you missed, please write a description of your typical day in Spanish (a little Spanglish is okay). Turn it in to the basket.

We continued the textbook assignment posted on 28 de septiembre. There are a few more items. All need to be completed and turned in.
  • Pg. 23
    • Look at Actividad 5. Write a complete sentence in Spanish to describe what each student is doing.
  • Pg. 32
    • Read the box at the bottom, "Fondo cultural." What's a difference between American schools and schools in many Spanish-speaking countries?
  • Pg. 34-35
    • Read the article
    • Answer at least half of the comprehension questions at the top of pg. 35 (you can choose which ones)
